Our Communities

Over the 40 years that Hard Metal has been in business in the Irish market, we have always enjoyed our involvement with our local sporting clubs and like to contribute where we can to worthy causes close to our staff and customers.

We believe that there are few more worthwhile endeavours than being a positive influence on those around you. And that is what we try and do – by encouraging organisations that help build and foster successful, inclusive communities.

Our Customer Technical Training courses facilitate career development and improvement for those who work for our customers, while socially we contribute to various community and sports organisations throughout the island.

Much like our business, the Hard Metal community efforts span the island – from the Clonmany Community Centre in Co Donegal and the St Joseph’s Boxing Club in Derry, down to the Wolfe Tones na Sionna GAA club in Co Clare, and over to Bray Wanderers Football Club on the east coast. Our News section and Facebook Page contains regular updates about our involvement with local groups.

In 2015, we’re also playing a small part in supporting Sixmilebridge Camogie Club and the Irish Steam Engine Owners Association 2015 Road Run in aid of Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland. Read more about these worthy causes here.

At Hard Metal, we believe that these are fine examples of the many organisations up and down the country who provide a positive environment for their communities. We feel privileged to be able to support them and we are grateful for the warm welcome they have given us.
